- Leslie Rowe is the former Green Party candidate for Richmond, North Yorkshire (2005, 2010). A general election candidate in Croydon North West in 1987 and Ealing Acton in 1992. Leslie was also a European candidate in Yorkshire and the Humber in 2009 and the Cotswolds in 1989. Born in Lincolnshire, Leslie has lived in Brompton on Swale in beautiful North Yorkshire for the past twelve years. Leslie has had a varied career as an accountant around the world, and graduated with an MBA from Oxford Brookes University in 1994. Leslie has been a politician for most of his adult life. He has tried various political parties, but never quite fitting in. Only when he discovered the Green Party and its ethical policies did he realise that he had found his political home.
